This is me.

My love for photography started years ago when I was in college. I used to take a ton of really awful pictures, but I had fun doing it. I used a Canon SureShot 35mm point-and-shoot camera. In 2002, I bought a Nikon Coolpix 4300. I've been a Nikon girl ever since.

In the fall of 2005, I rediscovered my love for photography. What started out as a simple hobby has grown into a full-fledged passion! I find that I'm happiest when I'm taking pictures.

In January of 2006, I bought my first SLR, a Nikon D50. I also own a 35mm SLR, a Nikon N80, which I occasionally use for landscape photography. I own a variety of different Nikon lenses. For portrait work, I shoot with the D50 and a Nikon SB-600 and the Gary Fong Lightsphere (mounted off-camera).

As you browse through my photostream, it is my hope that you will be uplifted and inspired. I'm happy to be able to share them with all of you.
