When Marcin writes this, he is so not kidding. :) When he listens to photos, he listens with a deep understanding and wisdom of both the universals as well as the particulars. And when one is lucky enough to find him talking back to a photo, he brings through his voice a pure poetry of emotion-evoking, thought-rendering experience. He carries a platter of knowledge of poetry, prose, song, and mythology, and often will leave one of these goodies to make the photo experience even more deliciously refined. :) To look at his own photos proves this unique delicate combination. In fact, his photos and the words he chooses often seem to be talking and listening to each other themselves, even as they are one. Finding Marcin, or having been found by Marcin, (not sure which :)), has truly been a gift. Marcin, thank you for sharing who you are, and bringing so much to my experience here. Having barely just met you, you have already become such a good friend. (((O))) P.S. I wanted to add that Marcin is also an amazing teacher, but I am not sure teacher is the right word. It's more than just his thoughtful, caring approach, it's that he guides, enlightens, as much as he teaches. (Not only via the abstracts, but the life-tangibles.) And in so doing, he leaves one thinking, and learning long after the "lesson." Wow! Lucky students you must have Marcin. :)"
