I received a Fine Arts Scholarship Award (Don Hendricks Memorial), when I attended Fullerton College but didn't finish my BFA , I decided to pursue my interest in the medical field where I've been employed for many years. I've worked for one of the "famous" 90210 Plastic Surgeons for several years, spent way too many years in Pediatrics and now back to my first love, Dermatology. I'm now working as a surgical technician in a specialized micrographic type of skin cancer surgery called Mohs. I love my job.

I'm always an artist but having a "day job" has kept me from starving :)

Both my parents, a teacher and an attorney, were also occasional painters.
