Feel free to comment on my pics, particulary if you find something you don´t like. But then you have to give me advise on how to do it better. I do accept praise too...

As long as intentions are good and results satisfactory I think everything is allowed in love, politics and photography.

"Quality doesn't mean deep blacks and whatever tonal range. That's not quality, that's a kind of quality. The pictures of Robert Frank might strike someone as being sloppy - the tone range isn't right and things like that - but they're far superior to the pictures of Ansel Adams with regard to quality, because the quality of Ansel Adams, if I may say so, is essentially the quality of a postcard. But the quality of Robert Frank is a quality that has something to do with what he's doing, what his mind is. It's not balancing out the sky to the sand and so forth. It's got to do with intention." (Elliott Erwitt)

I'm simply amazed by all the good pics you folks are posting ;)

    She Said Unprintable Things says:

"Anders is an artist. Anders is brilliant and full of grace.

His images are complex little blessing towards the human race.

I don't go to Anders stream to examine dof or chromatic aberrations. I go to his stream and I end up examining myself. His images coax me into honesty.

I remember the first time I came across Anders stream. I got the sense that he was All- Knowing in a way. And the biggest thing I have to say about Anders is that I am not frightened by him being All-knowing. I would run, out of fear of everything ugly that is in me and us, if such knowledge were in the wrong hands. But Anders makes admittance beautiful.

You're not on flickr or on the internet when you're on Anders stream. You're just with his powerful images, and what a privilege that is!"

"Anders has an incredible quickness of vision and lightning reflexes as he captures an amazing array of street life, awesome candids, moving portraits and street scenes which capture the poetry of everyday life. He seeks truth and beauty in the most unlikely settings and his photostream is a sheer delight from start to finish ( have i mentioned his good taste in women?)"

"A view of the world through a lens. All persons become photo opportunities, doing nothing but everyday stuff. The images in this photostream show base humanity at its best and worst. Often they bring a laugh because the pictures make us see our own selves."

"when i see your photos i have this feeling
if you have seen the film 'amelie' its like watching the world go past you.. and as if you are hiding somewhere behind your eyes..:-) and no one sees what you just spotted...:-)
i thought i was like that.. only that i never shoot them.. for me they are flowing moments.. and i dont want to hold them in my hand...
as if they are little things that make you realise how strangers are not so strange...:-)

"I love it when the little black camera avatar is on my 'comments made' list...it means i have caught the eye of someone who takes fantastic, candid, almost raw street portraits. Anni, whom i know now is Anders, I picture in the background of every busy street, chronicleing life, people, emotion, a moment there. His work draws my eye to visit, to look, to learn. Mostly in mono, which diminishes distraction maaking for more detail. Thank you Anders, you inspire me to have the courage to press buttons in front of persons, either knowingly or not. Keep on clicking!"

"Anders is one of my very first contacts on Flickr, and I am grateful for this until today. Without exaggeration, he has inspired me in so many ways with his genuine interests in human expressions. Before I knew his photography, I'd had no idea capturing strange faces with unguarded emotions would be so addicting. :) Anders is a fine photojournalist who isn't afraid to explore the very nature of people. His photographs have given me great times, and I thank him for that!"

"I love coming to Anders stream everyday for there is always something magical about his captures.....whether it be his travels to other countries or his street shots of his beloved Goteborg, Sweden.
He shoots from the hip....I think quite literally for some of his angles have been astonishing!
Also I find his captures are taken with such clarity and candidness and that's what draws me in.
Even though I've been a friend and fan of his for a short time, Anders has become a fast favorite not only for his outstanding photography, but as a friend too. He is extremely generous, kindhearted and handsome which leads to a combination that makes Anders very special!"

He lives in Goteborg, Sweden and if you look at his photostream you will know his city very well and definitely want to visit it!!! I also like his Budapest and China sets!!

Anders is a very intelligent and knowledgeable photographer and what makes him special is that he is open minded, kind and always helps others. He often comments on my photos and I know he always means what he writes and I am grateful for his friendship."

    Buro JJ Deliefde says:

"He is a great documentarist of ordinary life. But there is always something special in his photos. Sometimes it is explicit, sometimes you have to watch twice. But then there it is, a glance in someone's eye, somebody in the background who's watching him, just the scene or the composition. The man has a very keen eye for situations! He says he sleeps now and then but I don't believe him :) I watch his pictures daily and it seems to me that he's always got his camera on him...
Next to his qualities as a street photographer I would like to mention that he's also one of the kindest people I met here on Flickr these past few months. I learn a lot from his comments! Thank you for that.
    His name is anni gbg."
