Ah, I'm finally updating this thing. You can now search in just about any engine "Mostly macros" and you will find my site is the first one up. And in my recent news.. I married my love, Alina.

ANYONE IS INVITED TO MAKE ME A FRIEND! Although I like to keep all material and contacts G-rated. Being new to flickr, I welcome comments and new friends. So I just click on someone whenever I get the chance seeing a photo that has something in common with my interests or that I like allot. I hope to make a lot of friends here!

I took many of my best shots with a modified $200 compact camera when I first got started in digital. My very first shots of spiders were done with a Polaroid in 1992. I modified it to be able to take macro pictures. Only about 1 in 30 turned out sharp enough to be worth it. Later, I worked out the math to do better. Now I finally have good gear, but still homebrew many of my own devices for macro shooting.

It should be said I've been a bit afraid of the internet dispite my large website. Rebuilding computers is not fun. So recently I have been trying to figure out how to reach out to others interested in macro photography of spiders and photography in general.
