I have only recently taken up photography (seriously!) and am enjoying the freedom it brings to my life, to step outside of myself for a brief while and take in the beauty of nature, noticing all the details and treasures to be found right infront of your eyes if only you take the time to really "look".
I especially love close up insect photography and macro work I find it fascinating!! Also colour is a big factor in many of my photos, I have a real sense for it! The flickr community is great, so supportive and inspiring, I have made many appreciative and great flickr friends from all around the world and enjoy seeing their amazing work and talent! Thanks for making my time here on flickr so enjoyable!
