I'm a father of six children (all with one wife which I married 25 years ago and - would you have guessed it? - still love). So that was the most important stuff. On top of that I work with the WDR 3 radio station in Cologne Germany. I regard this as a privilege. Photography has been an extremely important part of my life ever since I was 13. Yes, and what I'm especially fond of is black and white photography and shooting film with "classic" or "vintage" cameras such as Leica M3, Contax RTS or Nikkormat Ftn. But to be honest I find myself more and more shooting with digital cameras (mainly because I have difficulties to get decent scans from my negatives). As someone who mostly uses Nikon cameras I can use old Nikkor lenses on modern digital bodies. This way there is still a link to the old "analog" times...
