ABOUT ME:

Happily married father of four daughters. As an engineer I'm a bit of a geek in need of a creative outlet to balance my analytical side. Music is still my first love but photography is gaining ground as I continue to grow more and more passionate about it.

I love the versatility of a photo. It can provide something as useful and simple as a mugshot for a drivers license or become a work of art.

The thing I love best though is the way a photograph captures a moment in time and the emotion it can evoke. There's no better example of this than photos of loved ones.

My hope is that some of my photos will outlast me and mean something to those left behind ... maybe even my great great grandchildren.

I enjoy taking photos in all categories ... still life, portraits, landscapes, etc. You name it. I'll photograph it. I'm particularly fond of the creativity that can now be achieved through photo editing and manipulation.

The quality of the work found on Flickr continues to amaze me. I am truly grateful for the many wonderful photographers and artists who share their images so that others can enjoy and learn from them.
