Wife to Ken and Mom to Caleb, Philip, and Sarah. I am Nana to two grandchildren, Lily Rebekah and Eva Marie.

I was born (2/26/61) and raised in New Ulm, in southern Minnesota, a very German place, by parents with a German heritage. I am the youngest of six children.

After marrying my husband Ken in 1981, we lived in Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri, and finally in southern Illinois.

We live in the little town of Collinsville, Illinois. It is small town living, but only 12 miles from downtown St. Louis. We are restoring a 1938 bungalow and sometimes think we got in over our heads with the project.

My hobbies: gardening, collecting interesting stuff, listening to and playing music, piano, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, exercise, reading, and travel.

I learned how to ride a motorcycle at age 46 in February of 2007, a lifelong dream since I was about 18 years old. I love my Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C. I logged over 10,000 miles on it in my first 7 months of riding. Ken (on Heritage Softail) and I are always ready to take off at the mere suggestion of a ride.
