I decided to start using Flickr as a scrap-book for my life, figuring years down the line, there's no way I'm going to remember half the things I do and the people I meet. Not that anybody is forgettable or that events that occur aren't memorable! In lieu of a vivid memory, Flickr plays a pivotal role.

At the moment, most of the pictures I take are on a Canon Powershot S40. One day, I'll upgrade to a proper analogue SLR. I'm liking the S40 though, it's good to try to get the most out of my first camera.

The time finally came and I decided to upgrade from my trusty, yet brick-like S40 over to Panasonic's Lumix LX3. However, I've recently started using my iPhone much more - it's small, quick and I'm liking the results.

I didn't grow up using a camera or taking stills, it's something I only got in to recently. I'm actually loving taking photos, there's something terribly romantic about it and comforting too, knowing things are documented and I don't have to struggle to commit every notable experience to memory.
