Jonas Design & Photography's photostream  

I'm a freelance furniture designer and photographer but my background is in prosthetics and orthotics. I've been working in this field for the past 17 years in Switzerland, North Korea and China. In 2009 I decided to take a break from my career as a prosthetist in order to concentrate on photography and design.

In early 2010 Nina (my girlfriend) and I were very lucky to find an old factory area in Shanghai that is in the process of being transformed into a new art district (so called "creative garden"). We rented a 220m2 big place and renovated it. Since July 2010 we are living and working there. Our studio is our home, office, workshop and showroom.
