Rocks which have personality "assisted" or "awakened" by human hands (and a sharpie marker) to let their true demeanor shine through.

More than a rock with a face drawn on, these awakend stones take advantage of natural blemishes, divots, cleavage lines or fissures that can represent mouths, eyebrows, or whatever you see in the stone.

The best is to have a "catch and release" pilosophy, where the stones' personality is revealed, photographed/scanned, then released back into their environment so that others humans may enjoy them if they happen to find them sometime in the distant future, and so that the rocks may now see what is around them when they are back with their friends.
