I don't obsess over any of the technical details. I've used a tripod twice in the dark. Few of my pictures are posed or arranged intentionally in any way.

I try to always keep an eye out for the random beauty in the world, and taking pictures of it all keeps me sane.

This account is my brain-dump, my day-to-day blog in images. My other account has a culled selection of the best ones.

I've put together a website for my University of Chicago Regenstein Library graffiti, Crescat Graffiti, Vita Excolatur. I also published a book of some of the highlights.

Various places people have used my pictures.

Even though all of my licenses use "Share Alike" (which technically restricts you to using that very same license), I'm okay with people using any other Creative Commons license so long as it includes either "No Derivatives" or "Share Alike".

I'm not comfortable with the possibility of a derivative of a derivative work being locked down by full copyright, but I'm open to any form of reuse that doesn't result in that, so this is how I'm trying to work around that given the licenses that are available through Creative Commons.

I try to keep my contact list small, almost exclusively folks I know in the analog world. If I don't add you back, please don't be offended-- it's nothing personal.
