It’s always difficult to describe yourself while you are still alive. Well…
I guess it’s what it is!

My name is Sam and I’m from Tehran, Iran. However, I’m currently living in New York City, where I always wanted to pursue my college quest.
As far as I can remember I always wanted to be a filmmaker. In fact, I have always been crazy about films for as long as I can remember really. Everyone tells me I’m insane to pursue such a mad dream as all my friends are studying right now to become engineers, lawyers and such. But I can't be happy doing that now can I. I would even be happy working as a catering assistant on set. I just want to make a film that will mean something to someone or that can change people's views on certain things for the better. Cinema has a great impact on public opinion about certain things; for instance, culture, history, ethnicity.

Is anyone chasing the same mad dream as I am?

Well…I love photography, but I’m not a professional photographer; in fact, this is my habit and something that I really enjoy doing.
So, I really appreciate your comments and I’ll try to do my best to respond back to you. I’m a very open person, so feel free to criticize me and I won’t get mad, sad or even depressed.
