  "In a dark momemt and under the shower to have less cold, I thought that I was lost and defeated. And suddenly, I thought to some José pictures. I realised that if I was beaten it was by that order to be the stronger, the brighter, that order coming from my father, my loves, society, works. I realised how that order is destructiv: no compassion by anyone, just admiration for the best, no real love just just lust after.
  And suddenly, I thought to some José pictures and I realised how it's necessary to find an other way, how necessary are those pictures showing how human people can be so weak, so fragile sometimes. How strong is the fragile human hope.

El talento de usar la camara es obvio en sus fotos, pero es la manera que transforma la escena común y le saca el espiritu a las personas las cuales me han hecho un fanático de las fotos que ves aqui. Entonces esta el aspecto con la facilidad y frecuencia con que las sometes. No me digas esto pasa a cada rato... te llamo mentiroso/mentirosa :)

  I will tell you, rather suddenly, that I did not appreciate much in street photography. This is something that I rather see with my eyes, although I do enjoy some of the ones I see from well-known photographers. After a while, not as sudden, I started to get to know Jose -- not so much by way of his talent of collecting words from ideas, so easily expressed in simple terms of authors, singers and poetry -- but instead by the way he looks at people. The technical talent in using the camera is obvious in his photos, but in the way that he transforms a common scene, y grabs the people's spirit have made me a fan of the photos shown here. Then, there is that aspect of the ease and frequency. I have to take two breaths, in succession and short, because seeing one photo affects me one way, and then turning the page affects me some more. Don't tell me that this happens everywhere... or I will call you a liar."
