I'm a school social worker who enjoys her hobbies of knitting and photography. Regarding the latter, I used to keep my photos on my computer and enjoy them all to myself. Last year a friend saw some of my shots on Facebook and encouraged me to get into a show. Because most of my shots were taken on the Auto setting and I do know own or even know how to use Photo Shop, I was not at all comfortable with this prospect because I wasn't a Real Photographer. After several months (and more conversations) I finally gathered the courage to apply for a showing at Schulers Book Store. Since the show last March, I have now accepted and can embrace myself as someone belonging and deserving to be on the spectrum of Artist. And I don't need no stinkin' PhotoShop.
