Compound Eye. Get yours at bighugelabs.com/flickr

The World is generally far too serious & doomladen to need yet another 'earnest' person endlessly wittering in right-on socio-political & pretentious terms about the alleged values of what they do. I do what I do to have fun and derive enjoyment from the one thing I can control - the use of my own free time.

I reject the terms 'urban explorer / urbexer' utterly. I am a photographer. My choice of subject matter does not in any way link me to the actual or perceived mindset, motivations or actions of such people - I have no urbex connections, nor do I want any.

The moderate success I've had over the years has been more the product of much-appreciated good fortune than anything else.

I love my family, and my friends. Their happiness, and mine, comes first - please respect that... AND my 'ALL RIGHTS RESERVED' COPYRIGHT too : )

PPS - Please don't make me a group admin without my prior consent, I'm a busy father & artist, and am not interested in wielding power or mediating over petty squabbles in groups where people abuse their privileges.

PPPS - No urbex approaches & sob-stories please. I know first hand they often turn out to be troublesome. No invites to online urbex 'tea-sets' either please - I'm not into back-biting or web-based dictatorships.

"Compound Eye set's the standard for Urbex and decay , the shots come accross are both sharp and at the same time gritty ,This for me is what make's a true pro in the field of abandoned Photography.

    Flying Fin says:

"I don't know Paul personally, but am familiar with his work ... having watched his stream over the last year+. For me, what really stands out is Paul's eye for the truly gritty undertone of the urbanity around us. Right up my alley so to speak, but also a style and subject focus that many others can appreciate."
