this photo album is devoted to our house - which we are
in the process of remodeling - attempting to be as environmentally responsible as possible.

our designers, Adapt Design Studio, have been instrumental in helping forge the green building policies in Ventura. we found them through their relationship with Ventura Co.Habitat for Humanity. that was important for us.

the Van Wagner-Skrzat residence features as much passive solar design as applicable for our lot and existing structure, is oriented and designed to hold photo volt panels, and utilizes a lot of technologies uncommon in southern california that will enable us to live comfortably while keeping our environmental footprint small.
