I am an artist. I have a degree in art and crafts, which covers anything from Sculpture to graphic design. I live in London.

In 2008,a work colleague told me about Second Life, so I thought I would try my hand at some virtual building. I found it quite intriguing, setting myself personal goals and challenges.I began creating images from my own builds, trying to overcome all the limitations and obstacles that presented themselves in the process. It was there and then that I decided not to edit the images at all, and attempted to compensate for the inevitable flaws with the use of my own lighting and effects which seemed to be much harder to accomplish.

I have chosen to use this space not to show my real life art but to throw in some virtual snapshots that I have taken in Second Life over a period of time. Some are very old.

All my snapshots are raw images and have not been put through photoshop or any other program to alter them in any way. I may at most have put a border around them or added my name. The reason for this is very simple. It is much more of a personal challenge for me to capture an image on the spur of a moment, rather than create a completely new image by editing an existing one. It takes a keen eye and a lot of patience and the obstacles are never ending. This is epecially true when capturing subjects in motion. I also love to build my own props and sets, clothing and animations. The images may be carefully planned or even unplanned and there are no set themes or rules.

In Second Life art is all around. Those artists who have created landscapes, clothing, animations or anything else that you see in my images also deserve to be seen. I have an immense respect and admiration for all of them and I feel that I cannot alter their own artistic creations in any way. They are the contributors for the overall emotion of each image which would not have been possible otherwise.
And so, I would just like to add a very big thank you to all the artists whose beautiful work has appeared in my images, it is both an honour and a privilege.I have paid tribute to them in here.
So, there it is, no editing, lots of building and let`s just see what a plain old SL camera can do.........!!!!
