We are SPANA (The Society for the Protection of Working Animals Abroad) and we treat over 380,000 working animals through out Africa and the Middle East.
By providing free veterinary care to the worlds poorest people we not only help the animals out of pain, we also help the people and the communities who rely on their animals for food, income and their livelihoods.
All our photos are taken by SPANA staff as they carry out their work abroad. All comments will be most welcome and we'll pass them on to the photographers concerned!
