I am very new to photography. I bought my first camera (Nikon d5000 with the 18-55 kit lens) about 4 months ago and Have not put it down since. My main interest is wildlife (especially birds in flight) but I do do some landscape and attempt the odd bit of close up work. Wildlife photography is an excellent way to combine exercise, a love of nature and relaxation and I highly recommend it to anyone.
I have recently purchased the Nikon 70-300mm lens which, whilst not the fastest lens in the world, offers people on a budget a good bit of zoom and some sharp shots for the price. I would love a faster longer lens and a better camera but my bank balance and better half have convinced me otherwise.
I am very keen to get better so please comment openly and honestly on my photos. All feedback is most welcome.
