Online my name is usually Mischeya, and you can read more about me here or read the lastest in my LiveJournal. I live with my husband, our cat, our two roommates, and their dog, in a 3-bedroom house in Spokane Washington. I've lived in Spokane for about 8 years, but I grew up in the foothills outside of Fresno, California. I couldn't find many good photos of Fresno. I don't think that it is a very photogenic town as a whole.

When I am relaxing, I like to toke up, and play a game called DoD, which is a 'first-person shooter' based on WWII. I play with a clan called =1stCPB= or 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion. My husband and I also like to go target shooting with my Ruger 10/22 rifle. We like to shoot at 'clay pigeons' that we set up on the hillside, or at bowling pins hung from the low tree branches. We also have a cast iron resetting target that works pretty well. Always Remember: Safety First!

In the mundane world, I am known primarily as digital camera in February of 2005, and already I have so many pictures that I don't know what to do with them all. I filled up my husband's harddrive, and still needed more room. So, he had to get a dvd burner.

My husband and I are fairly new to the SCA, which is a medieval recreation group. We only went to the Newcomers event in 2004, but we went to 9 camping events in 2005. We live in the kingdom of An Tir, but also really enjoy our visits to Artemesia. Although we have decided that our characters are late period (a.d. 1300- 1500) from Tashkent, one of the largest cities on the northern silk road, we haven't really settled on our 'scadian' names. So, for now I am Taya, and my husband is Guillermo Incognito. We are merchants in the bedouin caravan of Aaron Farstrider, and are affiliated with Lord Hymie's Caravan of Traders.

We have become known in this area for our "Legendary Peanut Burgers" made with our homemade Thai-style peanut sauce, and cheddar cheese. I am thinking about expanding our menu to include more 'period' style food, like kabobs. And, my husband wants to experiment with a cashew sauce as an alternative to the peanut sauce.
