I live in a beautiful part of England with my Partner of 10 years. We share out home with our two dogs: Ziggy, a rescue Greyhound and a cheeky Whippet called Hector.

Ziggy is a 4 year old, Irish-bred, black dog, who failed to chase in training and so never made it onto the racing track. He lived in various kennels across the UK, under the care of the Retired Greyhound Trust, until we adopted him on 12th November 2009.

Born in June 2010, Hector is an adorable, wriggly bundle of mischief. Although bred from (Whippet) racing stock, Hector was the last one left of an unwanted litter of seven. Hector came to live with us on 14th September 2010.

Aside from my Hounds, I love photography and spend most of my spare time taking pictures; I publish my efforts online for fun and to motivate myself to improve. I know it seems that everyone online with a high-end Digital SLR likes to think they’re giving David Bailey a run for his money, but photography as an art form is something I’ve grown to love and appreciate since studying it at College and it’s now a significant pastime that allows me indulge my creative urges.

I have since donated these and other photographic equipment to The Disabled Photographers' Society. If you have any digital/analogue cameras or photography equipment that you no longer use, please consider donating them to The DPS. They are able to specially-adapt the cameras so that those with limited/no use of their hands can use them and they also adapt other equipment to fit onto wheelchairs etc.

Let's make it so the art and wonder of photography is limited only by our own ability to imagine possibilities, not by the confines of our bodies and disabilites.
