I'm 30, work in the City of London and try to escape as often as possible to wild parts of the world to walk, photograph and climb. I've done three expeditions to the Andes and many expeditions closer to home in the European Alps and UK highlands. Other expeditions include a bike expedition in 2006, when I cycled from my front door to the Russian border (via the most northerly point of Europe, North Cape, Norway), a journey of 10 weeks and over 7,000km. In 2001, I was part of a group of four that walked from the Atlantic seaboard to the Mediterranean seaboard, across the Pyrenees, a journey of 7 weeks and 750km.

I have recently finished a long distance hike through the mountains of Northern Spain (2010) where I attempted to document the landscapes seen during this journey through a series of landscape photographs and evocative stories.
