Have only really started photography since Jan 2009 when I got my DSLR but am now addicted! I'm very happy to have joined this community as a place from which to draw inspiration and learn from.

I really enjoy analysing photos from so many talented people on here. By understanding what others have done, I can then integrate these lessons into my own work.

I'm only now discovering that each segment of photography (eg portraits vs landscape vs reportage vs abstract etc) requires a different set of skills and techniques.

But its a fantastic learning curve and I value all input from members and especially constructive criticism.

If they are used for commercial or for profit than I would appreciate something for my work. This will only help me to offset some of the expenses I incur from this wonderful hobby.
