I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was around 14. I would put it down from time to time venturing in other mediums such as drawing, painting, and sculpture.
I learned a great deal about color, content, and composition during the four years I studied at the Columbus College of Art and Design in my home state of Ohio. It was in the last two years in college that I began to focus more on film. Since then I've assisted a number of photographers and filmmakers involving an array of genres. In 2005 I moved to New York taking part in Christo and Jeanne Claude’s Gates project in Central Park. I am now working as a production assistant in and around New York hoping to better understand the life of a film while writing my own in the process, and hopefully finding a little time to pick up on my first love, photography.

I would ultimately like to some day be writing and directing my own films, working closely with the cinematographer, and possibly acting as the director of photography as well.
