  ""I'm a lucky person.....while most people on flickr know Debbie thru her pictures, I know Debbie in person. I remember the time, working with her....she came in dressed for Halloween in her son's Soccer uniform kicking a soccer ball thru Sear's telecatalog...the time she filled in for the center manager's secretary......going thru his mail and picking up a box and shaking it saying "for me.....Jewelry???".....guess you had to be there and boy am I glad I was....we worked together too, briefly, at an all boy's Catholic high school......college prep school. serious school and Debbie, working in the admin office with me suggested we have a barefoot day and my co-workers almost gasped in horror. I could see how this wouldn't work, but inside was smiling and laughing uncontrollaby at the thought. She jazzed up the faculty bulletin. adding a question of the week....nonsensical of course. with a prize....but she was too much fun for that serious workplace.......
  Over the years, we've been soul sisters......we are amazed at the things we both "see"......our obsessiveness(es)......our wanting.....our love and our art.
  Looking back this moring at all her amazing pictures...and reflecting on what we have been thru together as friends, I know that Debbie is a true treasure in my life. Don't pass up the opportunity to meet this amazing artist and woman.""
