VITA
Zitta Schnitt, born in Vienna, spent her childhood in Austria and Hungary. Zitta had her fist experience of design at Art & Design School, where she focussed on textile design. Since 2007 she has been studying Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, with a special focus on Tableware and Lighting Design.
WORK
"As an Industrial Designer I take objects of everyday use, analyze and reinterpret them creatively - creative reengineering from the heart, creating products that are fun to use. Function and feeling both go into my work, what I design is all about the experience of using the object. The key elements are a harmony between form and function, manufacturing and the right selection of material and colour. Overall aesthetic effect, combined with little, often inconspicuous details, is what makes my work special."
