A keen photographer and hillwalker.

I started out in 2002 with a Centon DF-300, 50mm lens, and enthusiasm.

Update January 2011
I sold my Canon EOS 50D and lenses in favour of a micro 4/3rds system, and now use:
Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1
- Lumix G 20mm f/1.7
- Lumix G Vario 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6
- Fujinon 55mm f/2.2 M42 screw mount, via adapter
- Revuenon 50mm f/1.8 M42 screw mount, via adapter
- M42 extension tubes with the 2 lenses above for macro

Adobe Lightroom
Invaluable digital workflow/RAW processing software.

Canon S9000
A fantastic A3+ printer. I have to confess that despite owning this printer since ~2004 I'd hardly used it due to being unable to match on-screen image to the print. Having read a few articles on colour management and downloading the appropriate profiles for the paper I'm using I now have the confidence to make big prints which really show off the ability of current digital cameras.
Current favourite paper: Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl

Minolta Dimage Scan Dual III
I'm currently I was in the process of scanning many of my old 35mm slides so I can could get them uploaded to Flickr, but I'm spending too much time photographing and post processing.

I'm also posting at blipfoto for more of a blog/journal type format.
