I love all aspects of photography. I can talk about it all day; I typically do no matter if people are listening or not, so you might as well send me a message.

I graduated with a degree in Art from the University of Oregon in 2008 and a Masters degree in Teaching from Western Oregon University in 2010 (where I also was on the track team). Now I teach high school digital photography and yearbook, shoot freelance photography, and fight forest fires in the summer.

I have lived in this beautiful state for my entire life- It's an artist's dream; with mountains, valleys, deserts, forests, wildlife, and the ocean all within a short commute of each other. I am very lucky.

All that said, I do what I can with what I have. My plan is to stoke my passion for photography for the rest of my life.

My first digital camera was an Olympus SP-350 (an excellent slr-like camera for the price.
I later moved to a Canon 20D... but it got stolen. :( I didn't give up -- so I bought a Canon 5D and fell in love with full frame. At one point I had the 5D, a 10D, and a T1i all at the same time. I sold them all to get a 5D mark II, and that is what I shoot with now.
