I’m one of those guys who think there’s a huge chance that life could be meaningless at all… it might sound a little harsh at first, but, the more you think about it, the sooner you realize this is one of the best scenarios we could end up at.

That sentence implies a very powerful message, that is, we are relatively free to choose our own purposes… nobody gave us a set of instructions to follow or a list or objectives to fulfill during the course of our lives. If that were the case, we just had to finish what we were told and rest in peace the remaining days of our existence knowing we successfully accomplished our mission. Instead, all rules and needs are somehow embedded, either in reality or in our genetic code.

Life is a playground.

As long as we respect some complex and apparently unbreakable universal laws of nature (not a very hard thing to do since we don’t know how to brake them), feed our bodies to keep them working and -this is not completely necessary but we kind of enjoy it- maintain our precious genetic information running… we can focus on whatever we believe is worthy.

What should we do with the time we are given then?

In my humble opinion, there’s no answer to that question, and that’s beautiful, because whatever you’re doing with your life, you’re doing the right thing.

In my case, I really enjoy spending huge amounts of time thinking about reality, contemplating the wonders of nature and the beauty of our world… I also like to think about people and their intricate complexity. I consider art an essential part of my life. I surely love reading and writing, listening to classical music and watching good movies, but the one thing that interests me the most is, with no doubts, photography.

I don’t usually talk about myself this much and you probably know me very well, so I guess there’s no need to keep going.

Enjoy life, as far as we know, there’s only one chance to do it.
