  "Being Dave's cousin I have obviously had the privilege of knowing him all my life (!!) although it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I discovered he was as passionate about photography as I was. It turns out he was also pretty sh*t hot at it!!

  "I have known Dave (aka Sov) for many years as a work colleague and friend. However, it wasn't until quite recently that I learned of our shared passion for photography; I remember it well, there I was on Grandes Rocques beach having a BBQ with friends when he walked by carrying a rather large digital SLR, when I asked if he had taken any good shots he replied that he had forgotten to install the *&^%$£ memory card ;-)
  
  Dave was a fairly reluctant Flickr-er... "Nah... PBASE is much better!", but once I got him hooked there was not holding his creative juices back!
  
  A quick browse of Dave's stream will immediately tell you that he is a photographer of great talent. He refuses to stick to one style, always experimenting and seeking new creative ideas for great looking images.
  
  Oh yeah, lastly, he's also a very lucky Bastard.... he recently flogged all his old Minolta kit for a small fortune on e-bay, allowing him to upgrade to 5D and L lenses at hardly any extra cost ;-) He deserves it!"
