I live on the coast of Tuscany, I'm an architect and a bad photographer.

I steal other people's souls shooting film.
Once, I used to shoot digital with my Canon G9 until I left it somewhere in the wonderful neighbourhood of Plitviçe Lakes, Croatia...
I gave my old Nikon Coolpix 5700 with an adapter for filters to Elena, my girlfriend and I borrowed it back just to support my blogging activity, together with my mom's little Cybershot W380.
I used for a while an old Yashica FX-3 which once belonged to my father and now it's in my brother's hands.
Now I shoot with a *great* Zorki 4 with a Jupiter-8 50mm/f:2, fast film and much fun!
My faithful YashicaMat is another really satisfying toy with which I shoot everything, street photography too. I think TLR's are perfect for street shooting.
My real gun, though, is a marvelous Pentax MX with SMC M 50mm f/1.7 which I think might be the perfect single lens reflex. I use another couple lenses as well:
- a 28mm f/2.8 Tokina wideangle lens
- an 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 Tokina zoom
Sometimes I also like to experiment with a Holga 120GN, lo-fi experience!
And there are days I still like to load a roll into my very first camera: a Yashica Partner. Great fun.
I just LOVE Fuji Neopan 1600 film and Fuji Velvia 100.
Really.
Tri-X and HP5+ are old friends.
