  "A few words that come to mind when viewing the exceptional art that |ash| seems to create naturally:
  Texture. Michael is the King of Textures. He has a perfect eye for blending a given texture with an extraordinary image.
  Simplicity. Mike's scenery photographs are so simplistic, and yet, somehow they draw you right into the world he sees when he presses the shutter.
  Color. The layer masks and texture layers Mike comes up with, create some absolutely amazing colors. Those kind of colors that make you stare, you know the kind. They don't even have names yet :)
  Movement. Now, portraits are a very subjective form of photography and let me tell you,
  one thing that amateurs are constantly trying to capture is movement. Mike freezes a moment in time like no other photographer I know.
  
  Michael is always ready with a kind word and willing with a helping hand.
  Michael's photography is such that I have found myself over and over again trying to emulate.

While one could attribute many adjectives to Michael's (great, superb, astounding, remarkable, quality, accolade-worthy) work, I will leave that to others to discuss, as nothing else aligns itself with my belief that Michael controls the weather. How else could he manage to capture such fantastic natural imagery?
  
  Water: Fog, lakes, streams, clouds, waterfalls, ice, rivers, snow, creeks, rapids. Michael captures them all with such intriguing atmosphere that one can be pulled into the scene and placed in the photographer's shoes.

  "What a talent! I'm new to photography and only picked up a camera about 3 months ago. I found Mike on the Explore page and am glad I did. I just saw what the others have wrote about him. As I read the first few sentences, I kept thinking to myself; not only do I agree with them, I wish I wrote it myself! His work does take me to a world that I rather be in. This is an easy feeling to be in, as I sit in my cubicle eating my lunch at work, and enjoying his images. I even switched it to 'slideshow' so I could really immerse myself. Incredible creativity he has. He hit the nail on the door each time with each image. He has wonderful compositions and great control of colour. I hope I develop to this calibre in the future.
