È una bella storia, quella di Adamo ed Eva.
Ha un forte spessore morale...ma chiedere ad un adulto di crederci...come "dreck" si fa?
Che cos'è?

È una bella storia.
Non è che questo. Solo una storia.
La religione cattolica è basata su una cattiva traduzione.
Adesso basta. Ruben, vuoi dire qualcosa?
Statemi a sentire. Avete da fare? Ve la racconto io la storia.
I 70 Sapienti devono aver tradotto la parola ebraica "giovane donna"...con la parola greca "vergine".
Era un errore che si poteva fare facilmente... perché c'era solo una lieve differenza nella scrittura.
E così hanno fatto una profezia:
"Ecco, la vergine concepirà e darà alla luce un figlio".
È la parola "vergine" che ha catturato I'attenzione della gente.
Non tutti i giorni una vergine concepisce e dà alla luce un figlio!
Beh, lasciate fermentare la faccenda per duecento annetti...
... e in men che non si dica vi ritrovate con la Chiesa Cattolica.
Oy vay, ma che stai dicendo?
Sto dicendo che se anche I'hanno scritto...
... non è per forza vero.
Dà speranza. Non è importante se è verità o finzione.

The Septuagint scholars mistranslated the Hebrew word for "young woman"... into the Greek word for "virgin".
It was an easy mistake to make...
... because there was only a subtle difference in the spelling.
So, they came up with a prophecy:
"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear us a son."
You understand? It was "virgin" that caught people's attention.
It's not everyday a virgin conceives and bears a son.
But leave that for a couple of hundred years to stew...
... and next thing you know you have the Holy Catholic Church.
Oy vay, "what are you saying?"
I'm saying, just because it's written... doesn't make it so.
Gives them hope. It's not important whether it's fact or fiction.
People like to believe.
