  I continue to learn by seeing Ronny's images. They create a resonance that draw you in to look further. They are often timeless in essence, capturing an ephemeral moment that will remain thanks to his use of photography.

  "A good part of Ronny's work could be summed up to me in some of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's words I remember mentioning to him a while ago : "In every crowd are certain persons who seem just like the rest, yet they bear amazing messages." Not only does he have this capacity to capture the spirit of people, but he has this power to crystallize their daily moments to voice an essence of who they are. His eyes naturally captures the dialogue between a person and her element - and when it comes to candid street photography, I believe it's a real talent. Nothing appears to be lost and every detail of his compositions is a hint of his intuitive understanding of the human nature as well as another visual line in the tale of being, day after day. When you look at his pictures, you feel and understand those people in that they embody who you are, might be, have been or who you could be, and to quote L. Schlessinger “The people and circumstances around me do not make me what I am, they reveal who I am”.
  
  This is the reason why I feel his street portraits and scenes are not only the reflection of his affection of the human spirit, but of his own sense of humanity too. So I shouldn't have to mention now that he is genuinely kind-hearted... and besides that has a great sense of humour. :) He has been very supportive in many ways as the photographer but as a friend too.

  "Fouquier is a first-class street photographer. He has great timing, a keen photographer's eye for gesture and composition, and is a gifted visual storyteller. What impresses me about his work above all is consistency. If you look through his stream, you will find a body of photographic work of a very high standard; not just a few great images interspersed with mediocre photographs. I am also in awe of his post-processing skills: the tonality of his black and white images is invariably stunning.

  "There is a small group of amazing photographers on fickr who take very good photographs and just a few of that group take excellent photographs. Fouquier or better known as Ronny, is one of them. Not only does he pick very good subjects but he photographs them with great expertise, always sharp and crisp with great contrast and sensitivity. I have often looked at some of his photos and wished that I had taken them. Ronny is probably the first friend/contact that I look at when I come home to see his latest work which is always of a very high standard. I look forward to more in the future."
