« Découvertes… » can be translated into « Discoveries… », « Discovered… » (plural) or « Undressed… » (plural) the play on words and the three meanings can not be translated, unfortunately.

Excerpts from an interview titled «Sexual Healing» by Andrés, who was the first to tell us we should make a book. The book exists. Thank you, Andrés.
A: People usually make photos of others, sometimes themselves, but you two are a couple who makes photos of each other as art projects.
Z: The "creative project", I think, was not the first goal.
A: Then what was it?
Z: To let Thierry see how I see him.
T: Indeed, it came afterwards. The first intention was to explore our bodies, our intimacies and how we were able to play with it and maybe even share it. Yes, it's a kind of therapy, in a way. And the fact that more and more photos are public and that the "friends" photos are more and more daring is also significant.

Z: I don't like my body but I accept it… a little more!
A: But, you went beyond that, you're showing it all over the internet, with lots of fans. We know you in a very very intimate way… and still I haven't see you dance. In your photos, each other is seen as a lover, there's a lot of sensuality there that go beyond exhibitionism, but also, sometimes, I feel like I'm in your own secret album…

Z: To sublime the daily routine, is art.

And now, Hugues tells us we should make an exhibition of these photos. This book is the first step.
Let's hope it won't be the last.

Extraits d'une interview intitulée «Sexual Healing» par Andrés, qui a été le premier à nous dire que nous devrions éditer un livre. Le livre existe. Merci, Andrés.
A : Les gens font généralement des photos d'autres personnes, parfois d'eux-mêmes, mais vous êtes un couple qui se photographie comme un projet artistique.
Z : Le "projet créatif", à mon avis, n'était pas le but premier.
A : Et quel était-il ?
Z : Montrer à Thierry la façon dont je le vois.
T : En effet, c'est venu plus tard. L'intention première était une exploration de nos corps, de notre intimité et de notre capacité à en jouer, voire à la partager. Oui, c'est une forme de thérapie, en quelque sorte. Et le fait que de plus en plus de photos soient publiques et que les photos réservées aux "friends" soient de plus en plus osées est significatif.

Z : Je n'aime pas mon corps, mais je l'accepte… un peu mieux !
A : Mais tu es allée encore plus loin, tu le montres sur internet, tu as de nombreux fans. On te connaît de façon très intime… et pourtant je ne t'ai même pas encore vue danser. Dans vos photos, l'autre est montré comme un amant, il y a beaucoup de sensualité, cela va au-delà de l'exhibitionnisme mais aussi, parfois, j'ai l'impression de feuilleter votre album intime…

Z : Sublimer le quotidien, c'est de l'art.

Et maintenant, Hugues nous dit que nous devrions exposer ces photos. Ce livre est la première étape. Espérons que cela ne sera pas la dernière.

We decided to create this book because we wanted this work to be seen and (hopefully) appreciated by as many people as possible, until I can (hopefully again) find a gallery who would exhibit these photos.

"The beauty in T's stream doesn't depend on the attractiveness of the model, nor the beauty of the subjects.

Rather it is the isolation of the focus, from the playing of a flute, to the hair plastered on an infants head, the immediacy of the image is paramount. There is an intensity to them, an intimacy; even when the subject is so reduced as to ba almost abstract, which catches me, and arrests my thought.

They are what I, in different arenas, strive for.
