  I love to look through all of Backy's nature and car photos. It's always fun to see what new and interesting things he's discovered flotaing in woodland stream, or parked outside the local Wal-Mart. Not to metion that sweet ride he's got out in his driveway.   "Billy is one of the nicest and most down to earth person i met on flickr..he's humble and says what he thinks. to me he's a regular guy, not trying to be some hot shot..I feel in love with his adventures long ago..i too share his hobby of bottle digging. i know the thrill of the find..and the weird obsession one gets of never wanting to stop digging them up..(i was a member of "The bottle diggers of American" for many years back in the early 80's...( yes, there's a bunch of us out there)..billys work goes way beyond bottle digging. he has a eye for a beautiful picture..all worthy of frames or post cards..Keep digging Billy, them old bottles seem to be treasures waiting for you to find them before nature destroys them..In your pictures they seem to smile and pose for you...Like They know they found a home."

Just as the everyday "object d'art" he digs relentlessly out of the ground, so Billy digs relenetlessly at the world around him with his camera and unique vision that is a combination of comedy, documentary and surrealism. He is an underdeveloped talent which I expect with time will shine brighter and clearer as he hones his skills. Every image is an adventure; every adventure, an image. One never knows what he will find or uncover or "dis"cover around the next bend in the woods, or what he will "re"cover from one of his older photos laying around.
