The first photos here are scans of 10*8 inch black and white prints. I did all my own developing and printing but don't seem to do it anymore. Many of the pictures were taken while travelling, especially to festivals in Asia. I like structure, balance, symmetry, lines, stillness, movement and feeling. At the end of 2007, I went digital and colour. I wanted to see what I hadn't seen before: festivals in colour.

Chosen as one of the 'final 40' for
How We Are - Photographing Britain, the first photo exhibition mounted at Tate Britain, and their first exhibition to include submissions from the public. The 40 photos were on display 6 August - 2 September 2007.
