what got you into Photography?

As if it is innate I am always compelled to capture the myriad of moments in life.

Are there any photographers that gave you inspiration to get into the field of photography?

Gordon Parks, Terry Richardson, Sante D'Orazio amongst others however, much of my inspiration comes from the visuals in films. Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Oliver Stone and Guy Richie, for example exhibit the styles of composition, visuals, cinematography, and their dramatic use of colors at times help to influence my own style. I build upon their visual ideas such as, lighting, rendering and color usage incorporating them into my own work until they become my own.

What is your favorite style of Photography?

My subject “speaks” to me, therefore I like to think that my work encompasses a broad range of themes.

Most people reach a point where they can go anywhere creatively; do you feel that you have reached that point?

Creativity is limitless. It is the most fulfilling feeling when the depth of your work transcends to others, you just live and have as many experiences as possible, with the knowledge that just as you have been touched, so have they.

There is a constant battle between Canon and Nikon and which is the better brand. Do you have a preference to which camera you use?

Canon merely because I prefer their lenses.
