My name is Julian Kliner. I wasn't born with that name, but it's the one that I prefer to use. I still use Christopher Lucka for photo contests and the like. It would be interesting to find a path to success with each, wouldn't it?
I am 22 years old, currently living in El Paso, Texas, having been in New York for three years, previously. I usually dabble in Street, Portrait, and Surreal Photography, sometimes mixing them together, all in one picture. My goal has always been to reveal a kind of truth as I see it, not necessarily an objective one, but the subjectivity of my world.
I want to show beauty, and ugliness too, and perhaps the ugliness in beauty and the beauty in ugliness. Whether it's the strange, transhuman sexuality in mannequins, a specters lost tears, or a shadow's desperate embrace, I will find something in it. All that is forgotten and overlooked and fleeting fascinates me.
I would like to do something that nobody else has ever done, or at the very least try.
