"There's something that unsettles you in Ailine's work, which personally makes me even more attracted to her work, art is supposed to wake a person up not make him/her fall asleep. And she transforms what could potentially make a person sleepy like a simple portrait, into a magnificent piece of art a threshold between reality and appearances and a person's true personality. Even landscapes start speaking up and yelling "a person has been here, he has left his hopes, his dreams, his fears behind this place" and you can easily imagine a whole story being born from a single photo.
