One day I found my Grandfather's Brownie Hawkeye Flash. I was encouraged to buy some film and try it out. I took that excellent advice and I'm so glad I did! It has opened my eyes to a whole other world I was not paying attention to before.

I photograph the everyday things around me. My photographs center on rural Minnesota. Focusing on the ordinary everyday people, places and events. Exploring its unique quirkiness and capturing the beauty of its landscapes.

I am relatively new to the world of photography even though I dabbled a bit in high school and college. I try to keep learning and improving my skills and have recently started developing my own black and white film. Flickr is the best photography school available (free at least). The talent on here is unbelievable. It humbles me. They have taught me so much.

I love the old camera's as much as I love taking the photo's. I have become a little obsessed with them... Actually a few have said I might have a slight problem. I agree.. but its a great problem to have. . I try to actually use every camera I buy.
