Hello, I was born in 1960 in Chicago. Later moved to the northwest burbs. I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 1960"s and 1970"s. That was a great era in America.
I was lucky to learn history from my past Parents, Grandparents and Aunts & Uncles about the 1930"s thru the 1950"s. I loved listening to them talk about days gone bye.
I have many interests, Chicago history, U.S. history, cars, baseball, railroads, collectibles, things of the past, buildings, churches, and the list goes on. My favorite thing is travelling. I travel whenever possible.
I just got interested in taking photos when I joined flickr. I am quite the amateur but I am learning. An old friend who is a photograher told me when traveling close or far take the backroads. I have no problem with that advice, I love to explore.
