On April 10, 2011, I realized a full year in photography. What an amazing journey it has been. Photography has changed my life in so many wonderful and unexpected ways. Having firmly believed all my life that I am totally left-brained, I never knew or believed that I had any artistic ability whatsoever. Photography has certainly changed all that! It has allowed me to explore and develop my creativity for the very first time, and I feel the excitement and immense joy of a child discovering a new world. I am continually amazed, inspired and humbled by the phenomenal talent of other Flickr members, and I am very grateful to my Flickr friends for their comments, which has provided me with much encouragement and support.
