i've spent a lot of time in the past decade as a nomad, a sometime artisan, an unlost wanderer, a lover of life, dogs and men, a wielder of the pen, a healthy eater, promoter of peace and seeker of love and wisdom. i'm also a totally cranky bitch on occasion, fond of whiskey and cigarettes. i am perfectly normal.

I've been avoiding the whiskey and cigarettes for the past six months, however, because I'm about to add "mother" to the list of amazing things I've done with my life. She'll make her way into the world in January 2011 - we're hoping for 1/11/11 - wouldn't that be cool?

I'm temporarily residing with family in Greensboro, NC until we figure out where we want to really live life (this ain't it).
