I've been sewing for years, but only discovered patchwork and quilting in the last couple of years and now I'm hooked!

I love modern fabrics and some of my favourite designers are Heather Ross, Joel Dewberry, Denise Schmidt, Anna Maria Horner, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey - just to name a few! I love quirky modern Japanese prints especially Echino.

I really like bright/fresh prints and strong colours combined with neutrals/solids, especially linen. I love strong saturated colours as well as bright primarys. I also love a bit of handstitching and embroidery.

I have a soft spot for reproduction fabrics. I love American Jane prints, and also 1930s repro prints. I also love vintage sheets.

If you are reading this because you are in a swap with me I think it's wonderful that someone is taking the time to make something for me, and I would love you to relax and have fun and enjoy making me something you love. I am positive I will love it too!

I love traditional quilt blocks, made with fresh modern fabrics, but I also like modern improv style blocks too.

I've got a bit of an addiction to precuts and have enough to keep me busy for the next few years! I'm trying to work through them before buying more.

I live in Scotland UK - it gets quite cold here but it's beautiful :)
