Ray's Photostream."Trying to catch up"'s photostream

Thought it was about time i did my profile.My name is Ray ,and i live in Liverpool England with my wonderful wife and my two beautiful daughters whom i love dearly .I am 54 years old,and love taking photos ,but i was never happy with film having to send it away and the cost of it so almost gave it all up, until back in 2000 when i bought my first Digital camera ,I thought what a wonderful new concept in photography ,well what can i say this gave me the fresh start i needed to my hobby . My camera at the moment is the Nikon D80 with the Nikon 12-24 (my other baby) and Nikon 18-200 .It was about 8 years that i finely decided to Focus (Sorry for the pun) on Landscape photography and have found that this country holds such a wonderful amount of beauty.As for my shots, well i still feel there is a long way for me to go yet .I setup my Flickr account about five years ago ,and have found it to be a wonderful place for inspiration , there are so many fantastic photographers out there it makes me want to try ever harder.I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all my Flickr Contact for there kind comment and support over the years,and i look forward to seeing more stunning work from you all soon.
