I love taking photos! I love capturing memories.

Interested in my cute, cute Golden Retriever, Lucy (aka The Goose - Lucy-Goosey) photography, quilting (quite a hack but they're made with love!), cooking, spending time with family and friends.

I'm absolutely amazed at how generous people are with sharing information and tips about their passions whether it be recipes and tips for photos of amazing dishes they've created, or how to compose or expose a specific shot in photography, or mistakes they've made and how to overcome with tips when quilting. Thank you all!

I really enjoy LOVE looking at my 'favourites' page - I only wish it were possible to wallpaper this 'picture' on my lounge wall!

My camera, sadly, is a point and shoot little Panasonic - that said I wouldn't give it up for anything (well, you know, I like it but...) it fits in my pocket or handbag and is always with me. It takes a great photo for a little camera but I am working towards a DSLR. I love my old SLR and really, really prefer prints from it's negatives but I really can't afford to keep going there.

If anyone was wondering what kind of family camera to buy, something children could use, something small and compact for parents to pack in an already overflowing bag, I'd certainly recommend the Panasonic TZ7 (or whatever it's been upgraded to!)

My photo descriptions and explanations are listed as a comment - as far as I understand (from the Flickr Help) the only way to stop photos appearing in search engines such as Google Images is to have no title or description...my photos may not be great but on principle I only want them accessible to those searching via Flickr.
