Artist, exudes self expression that IS Miss Karen, 41, North Idaho. Artist extrordiare, blow torch yeilding wench who rules her own Universe with as much imagination as possible. I make glass art & jewelry pieces but am not limited to that medium whatsoever. I dive into art in every way possible, including photography. I love to show expression, I love to see expression. I think photography lets all that self expression show us that we are always way more than we ever thought we were before. ***Self Portrait-ism- is the highest form of self inspection--expansion-exploration-examination-THROUGH execution-TOOL we have in todays digital age..or something like that! Self portraits are not about vanitiy- they are about self exploration & seeing yourself in new ways. Vanity has nothing to do with it and never enters my mind. Self portaitism is self exploration-art over rides ego and pride..and I find myself on a brand new ride every time I shoot. Oddly enough I do not really expect anything less than a cool trip every time I download my memory card..every day is as interesting as we let it be- and when we are fortunate enough to capture our "own special worlds" in photographs..it is always magic to me ; )

Self expression is the key to sanity and health! *I express myself to the fullest in every way possible* Cheezy Grin ; )

I do not add as FRIENDS people who have no photos available to me, people without any photo. If you want to be my "friend", I suggest spending some time actually looking at and commenting upon my photos first.
I surf here to fill my eyes with wonderous color, feelings expressed by others, good photography in which I will learn from, sparking my imagination everyday I come to flickr ; )

I enjoy emailing, good conversation, whit, and mild flirting in my socializing here ; ) But if you do not have your OWN photo, the chances of me adding you as a friend are very slim. If you have lots of photos from online-forget it. I want real people who are not afriad to show themselves. There is no shame is being a multifaceted person, why deny parts of yourself or call them dirty? WE Are EVERYTHING, there is nothing dirty about ADMITTING what I am, what I like, who I am from face to my flickr'd ass. SHAME is for people who do not accept themselves. I have very little shame left ; ) I enjoy myself greatly. I am here to entertain myself. I hope to find others who are feeling the same way. Show who you are, free yourself. Lose your "social skin" and your fear of being seen..it only binds you~
